What exactly is this about?
Your Roles and Responsibilities
- Raw Materials Management: You will assist with raw material screenings and evaluations, as well as with the sourcing of new raw materials, and coordinate the procurement of specialty raw materials based on product briefings.
- Project Preparation: You review product development briefings and prepare new development projects.
- Formulation Development: You will help develop and produce new cosmetic formulations and stability-tested base formulations. In doing so, you will carefully document formulations, processes, and handoffs.
- Data Management: You will reliably maintain formulation and raw material data in our IT and laboratory systems, such as Coptis.
- Project Coordination: Through regular communication with product management, you will identify relevant tasks for development and carry them out.
- Knowledge Management: You organize knowledge in a structured way and document it in a manner that ensures effective collaboration and coverage within the team.

Your Skills
- Completed apprenticeship or (initial) practical experience in a laboratory, in cosmetics development, product development, or formulation
- Alternatively: comparable education in cosmetic sciences, chemical or process engineering, life sciences, formulation sciences, or a comparable field in the natural sciences or engineering
- Excellent German language skills and good English language skills
- A good understanding of laboratory processes, workflows, and documentation requirements
- Practical experience in formulation (ideally in the cosmetics or chemistry-related field)
- Process- and priority-oriented approach
- Experience with laboratory systems such as Coptis is a plus

Welcome to the team
Our in-house Innovation Lab at our Innsbruck location produces more than 200 new products each year. As a (Junior) Laboratory Manager (all genders), you’ll work directly on the development of innovative cosmetic products and support our team in the formulation, production, and documentation of cosmetic formulas. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in cosmetic development, raw material sourcing, and laboratory work. The position is available full-time or part-time (minimum 32 hours per week), with working hours spread across full workdays.
